The non-governmental development organization E-MAC has introduced the 'FEED THE FUTURE TANZANIA TO STRENGTHEN THE PRIVATE SECTOR' project at the Morogoro District Council. The project was held at the Morogoro District Council Conference Hall where the project has been introduced to experts and heads of various council departments to get cooperation in implementation.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, the project manager. Miss Naomi Lukumay explained the purpose of the project in Councils and some areas are helping young entrepreneurs personally." The aim of this project is to help young people in the agricultural sector identify opportunities and use them – 'access to and use of financial and market resources'...
"The project with the theme Tanzania Strengthen the Private Sector aims to empower more than 200 young private sector entrepreneurs to understand the availability and use of business and financial services as well as the opportunities that match their needs, abilities, and aspirations, Miss Naomi insisted.
It is also Naomi said the project is a four-year project, which began its implementation in May 2022 and aims to increase youth awareness of policies, laws and guidelines relating to their economies as well as to understand the importance of registering their businesses, gaining knowledge of how to process crops, access reliable markets for the products they produce, increase sales and increase knowledge on sustainable agricultural education and participation in policy debates. Miss. Naomi explained that youth will have to contribute 30 percent of the cost of the equipment they need in their business and the project will fund them by 70 percent to achieve their goals of economic recovery through the private sector in terms of business and agriculture.
Project Coordinator Ndg. Samuel Luhaga thanked the support they received from the Council's leadership and called for the continued benefit of youth in strengthening the private sector, especially for young entrepreneurs on the part of the trade and agriculture.
Mr. Chesco Lwaduka on behalf of the Director has called on the organization to meet the objectives and oversee the principles and procedures throughout the implementation of the project.
