Preparation of 2019/2020 Planned Budget

Morogoro District Council continues with the draft budget plan for the financial year 2010/2020

The activity goes on under the District Planning Officer Mr.Elias Salifu. Speaking of the work the officer plans to say that the budget plan preparation for the 2019/2020 financial year is for the implementation of all the activities of the Councils.

He noted that the budget preparation is being carried out in accordance with the 2019/2020 budget guidance, Chama cha Mapinduzi Manifesto of  (2015-2020), Five-year National  Development  Plan, Strategic Development Plan, Different Sectorial Guidelines, and also focus on people's priorities.

Mr. Salifu further stated that in this budget, the Council has planned to collect and spend the sum of Tsh. 42,625,824,024.50 where between the amount, the amount of Tshs. 2,201,584,000.00 will be collected from internal sources equivalent to 5.2 percent of the planned Budget and the rest will collected from Central Government and Development partners
