Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan has directed the East Coast Nanenane Exhibition Management to ensure that all Agricultural, Livestock and Fisheries Institutions perform their duties at the Nanenane Exhibition Center throughout the year instead of waiting for the duration of the exhibition alone.

The Vice President issued the decree yesterday on August 8, in Morogoro as she officially closes the eight Farmers, Pastors and Fisheries(NaneNane) demonstrations held at the Julius Kambarage Nyerere Nanenane grounds in Morogoro.

The Vice-President directed the Heads of Regions and Districts in the region to regulate food security by focusing on farmers to trade in agriculture and not just to keep food in their home.

Region Commissioner of Morogoro Dr Kebwe Stephen Kebwe said the Region has set itself a goal to ensure that they reach 9000 hectares including ensuring continued cultivation of strategic crops.
