MINISTER OF THE PRESIDENT OFFICE REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT VISITS MOROGORO DISTRICT COUNCIL

President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government Minister Hon. Suleman Jafo on 21/12/2017 has visited Morogoro District Council and examined two development projects including the Kiroka Irrigation Scheeme and Secondary School project. and later meet with the staff of the Morogoro District Council in the District Headquarters at Mvuha.

Speaking at a meeting with the Council staff, Minister Jafo has emphasized the use of the Force Account in implementing development projects in line with the use of Tails in renovation and construction of classes to reduce the potential for educators and students in the schools.

Mr Jafu has urged employees to work together with each other to fulfill his role in Building the National.

At the meeting, Hon Jafo explained that he is not pleased with the projects he visited, due to misuse government's funds that the projects show. He promised to create a commission for conducting an investigation.

In line with this Mr. Jafo, asked Council councilors to recognize that they are on behalf of the people, so they should protect and manage the resources of the Council.

Mr Jafu has promised to return back early next year 2018 in order to visit further development projects following the request of the District Council Chairperson.
