The Department of Health in the Mororgoro District Council has conducted Voluntary Blood Donation Program Exercise in the district. The exercise was held on February 7 and 8th. This exercise was held at Mvuha primary school, Mtamba Marketplace and at Mvuha Secondary School.

A total of 21 students emerged to provide blood at Mvuha Scondary School where a total of 18 Unity blood was collected.

In Mvuha Primary School 21 students appeared to donate blood where total Unity 21 bloodshed were collected. This exercise is sustainable and is scheduled to be held regularly to have adequate blood reserves in the district for serving mothers with multiple bleeding periods during childbirth and under 5 years of age children.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues on this exercise student Abdallah Juma a form three student said she was promoted to donate blood after seeing the deaths of many people increased by the bloodshed caused by, the deaths of mothers and children
